About Jody
I’m Jody Schultz, and I’m deeply passionate about collaborating with individuals and couples to improve intimate connections. I believe that creating a safe, judgment-free space is essential for fostering healthy conversations, growth, and exploration. I work with individuals and partners facing challenging situations, including infidelity, affair recovery, sexual challenges, low or no libido, gender questioning, and sexuality.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent ten years teaching elementary school in Broward County. During that time, I discovered my love for working with families and recognized the importance of the entire family system working cohesively. This inspired me to pursue a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, building on my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Education (MEd) from the University of Florida.
As I worked with individuals and couples in therapy, I noticed that conversations about sex—though often avoided—are integral to most relationships. This realization led me to continue my education, becoming an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. I’m committed to creating a supportive environment where we can openly explore the complexities of intimacy and strengthen relationships.
