About Marni

I’m Marni Winters (she/her), a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I earned my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida and my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I have experience working with adolescents and adults, providing individual, group, and couples counseling. I’ve worked with clients facing depression, anxiety, and postpartum depression, and I’ve helped them cope with grief and loss, anger management, stress management, suicidal ideation, conflict resolution, life transitions, and family and marital challenges. My passion lies in working with teenagers and adults who struggle with decreased self-esteem, intrusive thoughts, and relationship issues.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and The Gottman Method, all from a Humanistic perspective. I tailor my therapy style to each client, creating a genuine, warm, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe and supported as you work toward your goals.

It’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed by life, and you’re not alone. I take a collaborative approach to equip you with the tools to live your life to the fullest. I believe in embracing and living as your true, authentic self.

As Oscar Wilde said, "Be yourself, everybody else is already taken."
